Nowadays, everyone is using technology there is no question that it is vital for both students and adults to be able to understand and interact with the media they are exposed to. Fake news can be started to produce by radio, newspaper, television, internet, social media and can be also from your own mouth. Being exposed to media can be able to rise of fake news, misleading sources, satirical content, clickbait and alternative facts. With the help of media fake news spread quickly once started to share it everyone will see and will also start to share it to others. As you started to share fake news you also started sharing fabricated stories and once you gather benefits you can’t go away and you will likely to do it more and you can’t stop yourself from enjoying to do it. When there is a person who can’t identify an artcile or a news if it is satire that often begins with an aspect of truth then purposefully twists it to comment on society especially if the reader has no sense of humor. False headlines that can catch the reader’s attention to make them click on the fake news. Deliberate misinformation that is written for profit and then shared on social media among targeted groups of people who want to believe that it is true.
As we started to use media we should also start to be aware in identifying fake news. It is our duty to identify misinformations that are spreading. Fake news can affect behavior, too. It encourages people to invent excuses, to dismiss others’ ideas, to exaggerate the truth, and to spread rumor. This can create divided, anxious workplaces where people are cynical and unsure of who to trust.
